Samsung Band Fit 3 - Black

The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is a budget-friendly, lightweight fitness tracker featuring a rectangular 1.6-inch AMOLED display, a premium aluminum body, and up to 13 days of battery life. It serves as a streamlined alternative to full-scale smartwatches, focusing heavily on health monitoring and exercise tracking through the Samsung Health ecosystem.

Key Specifications & Design

• Display: 1.6-inch rectangular AMOLED screen with a 256 x 402 resolution.

• Build Quality: Sandblasted aluminum casing weighing just 18.5g (body only), making it highly comfortable for 24/7 wear.

• Durability: Rated for 5ATM and IP68 water and dust resistance, making it suitable for pool swimming and open-weather workouts.

• Battery Performance: Features a 208mAh battery that charges up to 65% in 30 minutes. It lasts up to 13 days under typical use, though this drops to roughly 3.5 to 4.5 days if the Always-On Display (AOD) is active.

Health & Fitness Tracking

• Activity Modes: Supports over 100 distinct workout types with automatic detection for core routines like running, elliptical trainers, and rowing.

• Vital Sensors: Built-in optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, and an SpO₂ sensor for blood oxygen tracking.

• Sleep Coaching: Tracks detailed sleep stages, provides a personal sleep grade, and can cross-reference snoring data when paired with your phone's microphone.

Smart Features & Limitations

• Notifications & Replies: Displays incoming texts and notifications with support for sending pre-configured auto-replies directly from the wrist.

• Safety Protocols: Built-in Fall Detection and Emergency SOS triggers (activated by pressing the home button 5 times) to alert chosen contacts.

• Media & Camera Tools: Operates as a remote shutter control for paired Galaxy phone cameras and controls music playback.

• Hardware Omissions: It lacks a built-in GPS (it must piggyback off your phone’s GPS module for route mapping). It also lacks a microphone, loudspeaker, and NFC chip, meaning you cannot take voice calls directly or use tap-to-pay.

Compatibility

The tracker operates on FreeRTOS and requires a smartphone running Android 10.0 or higher with at least 1.5GB of RAM. The companion Samsung Health and Galaxy Wearable applications are mandatory for synchronization. iOS/iPhone devices are completely unsupported.
